I started with a local private business in the Goods Inwards/Despatch section, working my way up through various sales positions, and finally becoming a Director, up until the business closed in 200
T&F is me, David Thorpe. Upon leaving school at 16 (1974), I went into training as a tool & hardware supplier to the trade and retail public. I started with a local private business in the Goods Inwards/Despatch section, working my way up through various sales positions, and finally becoming a Director, up until the business closed in 2003.
At this point I decided it was time to put the vast knowledge I had gained over those years into setting up my own business, and T&F was founded, originally as a Partnership with a close friend. I became a Sole Trader in 2018.
I specialise in supplying a wide range of tools, workshop consumables and supplies to various trade sectors and the general public.
Recent times have seen me introduce my lifelong passion for Country Pursuits into my business.

I am a Registered Firearms Dealer and a member of the Gun Trade Association, supplying shotguns, rifles, air rifles, ammunition plus all manner of related country sports products. I am also able to offer short and long-term firearms storage with a free local delivery service included. I can also deal with RFD to RFD Transfers.

I have access to a private shooting range facility for air rifles, shotguns and section 1 rifles, here I can instruct/guide you in the basics of handling these very different firearms safely. I also have a pattern plate for checking gun fit and choke/cartridge patterns. These facilities are by appointment only.
